Walla Walla Highway Closures Planned for Late August

WSDOT announced several highway closures in Walla Walla effective late August through early September. Northbound I-405 will close from 11 p.m. Aug. 28 to 5 a.m. Aug. 31, and southbound I-405 will close overnight Sept. 3-4. I-5 will have nightly lane reductions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 4 near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) and north of North Lake Samish (exit 246).

State Route 20 will have alternating traffic daily (except weekends) from Swin Slough Bridge to Laconner Whitney Road/Bay View Road for Anacortes utility work. SR 4 will have single-lane closures weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 50th and 42nd Avenues through Sept. 11. SR 99 will close the right lane from 8 p.m. Aug. 31 to 5 a.m. Sept. 1 for utility work.
